Mumbai University vice-chancellor Sanjay Deshmukh on Thursday promised to set up Wi-Fi in all affiliated colleges, introduce digital lockers for easy access to mark sheets and certificates online, and launch a mobile application to make digital access easier. He was speaking at an informal interaction with students.

Called `Coffee with VC', the first edition of the monthly interactions planned on the lines of the `Chai pe Charcha' initiative of a political party saw about 450 students from 20 affiliated colleges in south Mumbai meet Deshmukh.

Students who wish to appro ach the vice-chancellor with academic issues can send their queries on vice-chancellor@mu.ac.in.

On Thursday, students had queries on syllabus change and re-evaluation delay. Deshmukh also promised financial assistance to needy students. TNN
