Several final-year engineering (information technology) students from colleges affiliated to Mumbai University have written to their respective principals informing them about “out-of-syllabus“ questions asked in their cloud computing paper held on Thursday .
Students claimed that questions carrying about 20 marks were not from their syllabus and some topics are from the eighth semester, when they are in the seventh. Some teachers too have written to their principals seeking intervention in the matter.
Students from another institute in Borivli have also written to their principal seeking 20 grace marks. Examination controller (in-charge), Deepak Wasave, said that no complaints have reached him yet.
