The day three of placements at Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay witnessed offers coming to over 75 students. There will be a day off in the placement activities on Sunday on account of the CAT exam.
Among the over 25 companies participating in the first slot on Day Three were --Juniper Network, Bosch India, Tanaka, Ernst and Young, Infosys, Ola Cabs, Axis Bank, CISCO, Paytm, Morgan Stanley, ICICI Bank, Hitachi, Sandisk, Mahindra Susten, Yodlee etc.
The institute saw more than 150 offers with the participation of more than 32 companies on the first day .Among this more than 20 were international job offers.On day two, 30 companies participated and made 160 domestic offers and eight international offers. The second slot of placements on day three were still underway. Taking into account the offers made, a total of about 400 offers have been made until now.
“It will be a day's break from placements for students as there will be no activity on Sunday as CAT is being held,“ said Falguni Banerjee Naha, public relations officer at IIT-B.
This year, the placement season at IIT-B will approximately last till December 17 with participation for approximately 300 companies.
