The Council of Architecture (CoA) has clarified that admissions to B Arch courses will be based on scores in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) as well as class XII scores. Both class XII and NATA scores will be given 50% weightage for admissions.
It was earlier reported that admissions to the state's architecture colleges will be completely based on NATA scores. The state, accordingly, decided to scrap weightage given to class XII. However, with the council issuing a clarification, the state also has decided to revoke their earlier decision. The state's Directorate of Technical Education restored the weightage given to Class XII scores.
