There is good news for those students who are enrolled in engineering and management courses in government and private colleges across the state. The students pursuing these courses will now have to pay less fee as the state government has decrease the fee in some courses of all engineering and management colleges by Rs5,000-Rs7,000.
The students of MTech, ME, BTech, MCA, MBA and BArch will get the benefit of the government’s announcement.
The higher and technical education minister Kiran Maheshwari had given directions to reduce the fee of engineering and management courses to make them more attractive and also keeping in mind the welfare of students. Also this would help in reducing the financial burden of the parents.
In keeping with the directions of the minister, the state-level fee committee, on Monday, decided to reduce the fee of some engineering and management courses by Rs5,000-7,000.
Presently the course fee MI, MTech, BTech and BArch is Rs77,000 and it will now be Rs70,000 per year. Similarly the fee for MBA and MCA has been reduced to Rs55,000 from Rs60,500 per year.
